Well, I usually hate doing this, but this was necessary. I can't stand it when people put up forums for the purpose of bashing other websites. Recently, I found onlinepharmacyscams.com, which is owned and operated by Med Maven - medmaven.com. Medmaven.com appears to be an affiliate for offshore pharmacies that do not require prescriptions. This is not one I would personally trust, but I wouldn't order from pharmacies that cater to those who self medicate. Too risky for my taste! In the case of MedMaven and onlinepharmacyscams.com, they bash other pharmacy related websites to make their website seem more trustworthy.
ON top of that, Medmaven.com & onlinepharmacyscams.com do not allow anyone to post in those forums where they bash other pharmacies. This makes it so that they are free to bash other online businesses if they wish without letting anyone refute their claims. Anything that is posted on either website should be taken with a grain of salt--unless 'MedMaven' decides to unlock their forums and allow the public to post on onlinepharmacyscams.com.
FYI- I am hopeful that this post will solicit a response from the folks at Medmaven. I would love to eventually remove this post.

I have been going to the same doctor now for quite some time. but now this
doctor has closed his practice down and left all of his patients just hanging
with no help at all. this doctor is a pain doctor and most of, if not all of,
his patients are all on meds that are very addictive. and for him to leave us
like he did without any help or any way to get our meds is in my opinion just
down right illegal and immoral !!!!! this is very serious and serious things
could happen to those of us on particular meds with no way of continuing
treatment. my doctor diagnosed me as having fibromyalgia, i am in constant
pain and have been my entire life. nothing has ever worked on me for my pain,
my body has such a low tollerance to pain and a VERY high tollerance to pain
meds, i HATE it !!!. the doctor had me taking several meds, but the main med
he had me on for pain was methadone. and this is what is causing me all of the
withdrawals and i just cannot take this anymore. i cannot get help anywhere, i
have talked to every doctor within our area and surrounding areas that can
deal with this type of situations and NONE of them will take me in as a
patient. i do not know what my doctor did to cause him to have to shut his
practice down, but every doctor we have talked to has said that they would
absolutely NOT accept any of this doctors patients. i dont understand why, WE
are the victims here, we did nothing, we just need help. and once we stopped
letting them know who the doctor was, they wanted to know who the referring
doctor was, crap, im at a loss here... also none of the other doctors will
accept any patients unless they have insurance. WHY ??? as long as i have the
money to pay them, isnt that all that MOST doctors anymore are even concerned
with? at least they get paid, i just need help and BAD !!!!!! i have the
shakes, im jerking, im irritable, i want to punch holes in the walls, im
litterally going crazy here and its not my fault, i cant stop crying and i
just need help and i dont know what else i can do, i have TRIED AND TRIED to
go ever legal direction i can find to get help, and now im turning to the
internet. but now im running in to the same problem, i still need a doctors
prescription, and once again, i CANT FIND ONE !!! how in the world can a
doctor do this to his patients that he CLAIMS he cares about ???? can someone
PLEASE tell me that??? i dont know if you can do anything for me at all
because i no longer have a doctor, but if it is at all possible that you can.
i just need help, PLEASE !!!!! it hurts so bad, and i cant
handle the withdrawals, this is so wrong.... im not a druggie, ive never done
drugs, (non prescription that is) the only reason the doctor had me on
methadone is because nothing, and i do mean NOTHING else would work, even the
methadone never actually completely got rid of the pain, it just brought the
pain down to a level that i could at least tollerate, and even while taking
all of these drugs, i have NEVER been spaced out, acted like i was on drugs,
NOTHING, they just dont affect me like most people, im cursed in that way, my
sister can take a half of an aspirin and pass out, i can take hand fulls of
anything and NOTHING happens.. i dont abuse the meds prescribed, i dont drink,
i dont smoke, i go to church, im just a person that is major pain with major
withdrawals because of a doctor who just "walked away" from his practice....
and these other doctors also said that they wont take any fibromyalgia
patients... WHY???????
i dont care what they call it, i just call it PAIN, if they dont want to call
it fibromyalgia, then FINE, call it something else, i dont know what else to do..........
